Turn off your Toshiba laptop and unplug the AC adapter and all other cords and cables connected to it. Flip the laptop over and remove all visible screws. Carefully flip the laptop back over and use a plastic opening tool to pry open the laptop case. Lift the laptop case gently, noting where each of the cables connect to the motherboard.
