Fastest way: buy them from another player at rate of 40g/140ss (common rate for them), using gw2exchange in reddit or overflow tc in discord. It depend on which lege you craft tho, GoM + Clovers + Runestones can be taken for T1 lege weapons. T6 conversions, if you need them , for all.
Better, bind the key to toggle spam F until done. You'll never need to loot again, just gotta remember to engage or disengage the macro as needed. Efficient karma to gold mean fast, to do proper farming right after because you can't get much from it anyway. If you don't want to lose a part of yourself, you shouldn't try to make money with karma. That was my point. It's just not worth the effort.
Since max level and equipment are moderately easy to get in this game (compared to others) and don't get outdated, they usually are still relevant and ready to dive into new content even if I've shelved them for months or years. If you like story gameplay, the personal story will give you experience roughly 2 levels worth every 10 character levels.
There are other ways of getting a lot of gold. But, they're all higher level stuff. Several fan favorites include: (1)Silverwastes. Get a bunch of keys and shovels from doing the events, then join on a shovel train and just get a bunch of loot bags. (2)Heart of Thorns map metas.
Griffon and Beetle need some skill, that's why I love them the most. The other mounts are amazing as well, but in a more practical way, while Beetle and Griffon are so much fun.

Just consume your luck from salvaging drops as you get them. It is worth boosting during Halloween and Lunar New Year, otherwise don't worry about it.
The fast.farming website is an amazing resource. Just keep in mind that they sometimes provide you with a little too much data for what you actually need. I'm not saying they're bad; it's just that they can't communicate the data with all the context according to your requirements because it would bloat the website like crazy.
