Perfect for use through all but the coldest and harshest of winter days, the Castelli Free Aero RC Bib Tight focuses on comfort, warmth and protection. Two fabrics are used; Nano Flex 3G from the knee up, maximising water repellency and stretch, and Nano Flex woven down to the ankle, which has a brushed fleece inner and protects against road spray.
The Castelli Nano Flex 2 are the best winter bib shorts I've used and superb value for the price. The fabric is warm, reasonably water resistant and offers a good balance between stretch and support. They're good and long in the leg, giving an extra inch or two of coverage with a comfortably grippy hem that stays in place.
Comfort and Fit. The Castelli has a few things going for them in the comfort department. The Nano Flex fabric is fairly water repellent, and the KISS Air2 chamois is well-ventilated, so they do a good job of keeping you dry.
